Strange Aeons Module 2

Event 4 (Klyn Murik) – rather than being just a nondescript thug that a PC killed prior to the campaign, Klyn was a psychopath working for Weiralai who was killed by Percifel and buried in a shallow grave.

Klyn will stalk Percifel and attempt to engage him alone. He seeks to subdue Percifel and bury him in the same shallow grave that he himself was interred in. At the time of this event, Percifel will have no memory of Klyn or his murder.

Nemira Lowls

Nemira will stalk her grandson (Blunder), not knowing that his memories have been stolen. She will avoid attacking him directly. Spooky encounters with the hideous old woman grasping for the “teenage” Blunder, who then mysteriously vanishes, should be played for maximum effect.

When encountered, she will make reference to Blunder and his brother killing their mother in childbirth.

G4: Blunder’s Brother

Count Lowls kept Blunder’s brother in area G4 (the family crypt) until the creature started to outgrow that confinement. Area G4 shows signs of something large breaking sections of stonework from the walls (knowledge engineering).

In Iris Hill, letters (F12) between Count Lowls and both Miacknian Mun and Arthur Bennet (who signs himself only as “AB”). Maicknian suggests on one letter (dated 4714) that the solution to the Count’s problem of Zaphira’s offspring outgrowing his chamber would be a Magic Jar.

Count Lowls does this and uses it in Module 4 to distract the Keeper of the Soul while he steals the Necronomicon. The Keeper drives the Spawn away, after which is rampages through the Mysterium lower levels, finally ending up in B14 where the players encounter it.

F3: Lowls Family Tree

The Lowls family tree is on the wall. This matches the dates on the coffins in the crypt (G4). Observant players will notice that Zaphira Lowls only died three years previously.
